Chief Master Sergeant Jeremy Phillips

Chief Master Sergeant Jeremy D. Phillips is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 81st Training Group, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. He is responsible to the commander for the professional development, military readiness and mission effectiveness of more than 4,000 officer, enlisted and civilian personnel from all four Department of Defense services and international militaries. Chief Phillips provides guidance to 7 commanders, and leads 1,300 instructors and staff who deliver 394 courses to more than 2,500 non-prior service Airmen and 500 temporary duty students daily. The group’s collective efforts produce over 29,000 graduates per year and directly enhance the operational Air Force’s lethality and readiness.


Chief Phillips entered the Air Force in March 1999 and graduated from Naval School for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) in January of 2000. His background includes various duties and leadership positions within the Explosive Ordnance Disposal career field. He has deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.


Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 366th Training Squadron, Detachment 3 (NAVSCOLEOD), at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. There he was responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and enlisted force management for 54 cadre members and up to 250 student Airmen, graduating up to 1,200 joint service technicians annually, to include candidates from 102 partnering nations.
