Remembering MLK Jr.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebrates the life and legacy of a man who played a key part in many well-known civil rights movements in the 1950s and 1960s and affected generations of people since he began his work. He brought hope and healing to the U.S. and radiated the values of courage, truth, justice, love and compassion in a time where people of color were segregated. In commemoration of this day, two Keesler dragons and the guest speaker for the base Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Luncheon reflect on how King affected their lives and what he represents to them. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Airman 1st Class Travis Beihl)
