333rd TRS welcomes new commander

Lt. Col. Andrew Miller, incoming 333rd Training Squadron commander, took command from Lt. Col. Nathaniel Huston, outgoing 333rd TRS commander, during a change of command ceremony here, July 24.

Col. Leo Lawson, Jr., 81st Training Group commander, presided over the ceremony.

Miller came to Keesler Air Force Base from Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, where he was a student at the School for Advanced Air and Space Studies.

"What an awesome and truly humbling opportunity,” said Miller. “I intend to aid you in creating an environment where we will continue to put our mark on Airmen as we transform them into the cyber professionals, leaders and joint warfighters our nation needs.”

Huston expressed his gratitude to the men and women of the 333rd TRS in his final address as commander.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me, my family, each other and our mission,” said Huston.You have all made the sprint, no matter how long it was for, enjoyable and rewarding, and the best job I’ve ever had. It has been an honor serving you.”

Huston’s next assignment will be at the School for Advanced Air and Space Studies, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, where he will be an instructor.
