Keesler offers medical support to Tyndall evacuees

All TRICARE eligible beneficiaries affected by Hurricane Michael are eligible for care at Keesler Medical Center.  To access care, please register with Beneficiary Services located on the first floor, room 1B200 of the hospital or call (228) 376-4742.

Once you are registered, you may:

  • Visit the Keesler Family Health Walk-In Clinic, Mon-Fri from 1300-1500

  • Schedule an appointment by calling the Appointment Line @ 800-700-8603

  • Be seen in the Keesler Emergency Room

Additionally, affected TRICARE eligible beneficiaries may not be required to obtain a referral from their primary care manager to see an authorized TRICARE provider.  A blanket referral waiver is currently in affect through 31 Oct 2018 and applies to members enrolled in a TRICARE Prime plan in certain areas identified on the TRICARE website. Please visit https://tricare.mil/michael for a complete list of affected areas. The blanket referral waiver only applies to affected active duty members for urgent care.

For emergency prescription refills, affected beneficiaries may take their prescription bottle to the Keesler Pharmacy or any TRICARE retail network pharmacy. To find a network pharmacy, please call Express Scripts @ 877-363-1303 or visit https://www.express-scripts.com/TRICARE/pharmacy.
