CISM 5th World Military Women's Football Championship
Keesler AFB has been selected to host the 2009 Conseil International Du Sport Militaire (CISM) Woman's Soccer Championship. This event represents a significant opportunity to showcase Keesler and the Mississippi Gulf Coast on an international level.
Each year there are AFS Championships in boxing, cross country, bowling, wrestling, volleyball, soccer, triathlon, basketball, marathon, and rugby. The best Service athletes are selected to represent the United States Armed Forces in Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) competitions hosted by member nations around the globe.
