Keesler celebrates Air Force’s 71st birthday, commemorates 100th anniversary since death of base's namesake

Members of Keesler Air Force Base are celebrating the 71st birthday of the U.S. Air Force and commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of 2nd Lt. Samuel Keesler, the base’s namesake, with an Air Force Ball 6 p.m. Sept. 22 at the IP Casino Resort Spa, Biloxi, MS.

The ball is an annual Air Force-wide tradition celebrating the heritage and history of the Air Force. This is a black tie and evening gown event. Social hour begins 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
