8/1/2012 - KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- The Stripes for Exceptional Performers promotion program offers commanders a limited opportunity to immediately promote enlisted members to staff sergeant, technical sergeant or master sergeant.
There are usually only two to three stripes given to each wing per year.
This year the 81st Training Wing promoted two Keesler members to the rank of technical sergeant.
