The following members of the 81st Training Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in July 2014.

 

Court Martial

 

An airman basic from the 335th Training Squadron was found guilty of indecent language (in violation of Article 134, UCMJ) at a General Court-Martial.  His punishment was a bad conduct discharge from the United States Air Force.

 

Nonjudicial Punishment (Article 15s)

1.  An airman from the 335th Training Squadron was punished under Article 15 for stealing a ball cap from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (in violation of Article 121, UCMJ).  His punishment was a forfeiture of $335.00 pay per month for two months, restriction to base for 30 days, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

2.  An airman from the 81st Medical Operations Squadron was punished under Article 15 for failing to go to his place of duty and for underage drinking (in violation of Article 86 and Article 92, UCMJ).  His punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman basic and a reprimand.

3.  A senior airman from the 81st Surgical Operations Squadron was punished under Article 15 for assaulting another Airman (in violation of Article 128, UCMJ).  Her punishment was a forfeiture of $959.00 pay per month for two months and 15 days extra duty.

4.  An airman first class from the 81st Surgical Operations Squadron was punished under Article 15 for assaulting another Airman (in violation of Article 128, UCMJ).  His punishment was a forfeiture of $858.00 pay per month for two months and 15 days extra duty.

5.  An airman first class from the 81st Security Forces Squadron was punished under Article 15 for failing to go to his place of duty (in violation of Article 86, UCMJ).  His punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman basic, with reduction below airman suspended for six months, restriction to Keesler Air Force Base for 60 days and a reprimand.
