Mare exercise

left, Major Lynn Vix, 81 Aerospace Medicine Squadron; center, Airman Basics Cassie Holmes and Cara Chamberlain, both are students from the 334 Training Squadron. Vix is treating the airmen’s burns and wounds after being loaded into an ambulance which will transport them to the Keesler Medical Center for more extensive treatment. They were severly burned and injured in the accident. Holmes was the driver of the vehicle that was struck by the derailed train,during a major accident response exercise held near the intersection of White Avenue and Irish Hill Rd.
