Keesler inducts newest Chief Master Sergeants during ceremony
U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. During the candle-lighting ceremony a candle is lit for each rank of the enlisted structure an Airmen wears on their way to the rank of chief master sergeant. Five Keesler Airmen earned their chief master sergeant stripe during the 2019 promotion release. Air Force officials selected 479 senior master sergeants for promotion to chief master sergeant out of 2,241 eligible for a selection rate of 21.37 percent.
