From combat pilots to various positions around the Air Force, women have proven their capabilities as leaders and demonstrated their importance to the mission. Keesler is celebrating outstanding women and their contributions to making the Air and Space Forces a more diverse and lethal force throughout Women’s History Month.

Tech Sgt. Dynasty Arentz, 336th Training Squadron military training leader, proudly serves as an example of a great leader by molding our newest Airmen and Guardians entering the Department of the Air Force.

“I’ve always wanted to be an MTL to give back,” said Arentz. “I strive to encourage and empower my Airmen. It is important to provide an inclusive environment and give everyone a voice.”

Arentz recognizes the stigma that comes with being a woman in the military, but chooses a path of endurance. She uses her platform as an MTL to show new female Airmen that they can do anything they set their mind to.

“There are so many opportunities in the Air Force,” said Arentz. “I challenge the women around me to not limit themselves. Putting yourself out there and striving for those opportunities will allow you to become successful.”

Although our mission is to train, develop and inspire our newest Airmen coming through technical training, our Keesler personnel are inspiring women of all ages to include our military children.

“I don’t want to ever settle,” said Wanda Cleveland, Keesler Youth Center child and youth services flight lead child and youth program assistant. “I have always wanted to see how far I can push myself and see what the next thing is in store for me. I want to see what I can accomplish and never hold myself back. I hope to inspire the next generation. If I have empowered the children, then I have done my job to the best of my ability. If I’m empowered, I’m empowering them. They can grow up to be the next generation of leaders.”
