Construction contractors camp
Trackhoe operator Stephen Arnold and his father, Cecil, prepare trenches for water and sewer lines July 20 at the former Harrison Court base housing area. They work for JESCO, Inc. of Tupelo, a subcontractor for Hunt-Yates. The fenced site is being prepared as a “man camp” with approximately 60 trailer spaces for contractor use while Keesler’s military family housing project, the largest in Air Force history, takes place. No decision has been made for the use of Harrison Court after the housing project is completed, according to Craig Merkerson of the 81st Civil Engineer Squadron’s program management office.
