KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- Keesler Air Force Base will conduct a pre-planned tornado drill at approximately 9:10 a.m. Thursday, 28 April 2022. This is part of a week-long hurricane exercise that is currently underway to ensure we are ready and prepared for the upcoming hurricane season.
Tornado drills are designed to evaluate first responders and test the base populace to react and recover in the event of a real-world occurrence. Personnel and visitors should be aware exercise activities may interrupt or delay base operations and services. Surrounding communities may hear the tornado sirens during this drill. All gates will continue normal operating hours.
