Col. Trent Tate, incoming 81st Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron commander, gained command from Col. Stephanie Buffett, outgoing 81st MDTS commander, during a change of command ceremony here, June 27.

Col. Beatrice Dolihite., 81st Medical Group commander, presided over the ceremony.

“My priorities are three fold: mission first, people always and America forever,” said Tate. “It is truly an honor to be able to serve this patient population.”

Tate was previously assigned to the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, before moving to Mississippi to take command of the 81st MDTS.

“I’d like to extend a welcome to Tate and his family,” said Buffett. “It’s been a privilege serving with a cadre of senior leaders that not only get the mission accomplished, but collaborate to make lives better for our Airmen and the ones they serve.”
