The mission of Marine Corps Detachment, Keesler AFB is to provide, as a supporting detachment, combat ready, entry level and career level Marines that are highly trained within their Military Occupational Specialty to the Marine Air-Ground Force, Supporting Establishments and Joint Operational Units. The Marines have four separate school houses here: Spectrum Manager, Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment, General Purpose Electric Test Equipment Calibration and Maintenance and finally, Meteorological Oceanographic Analyst Forecast.
