MARE prepares Keesler for crisis

Senior Airmen Mary McCurdy and Heather Holley, 81st Medical Operations Squadron, gather patient information as nurses, physicians and medical technicians care for “patients” in the Keesler Medical Center emergency room during a major accident response exercise March 21, 2013, at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The scenario involved a leaking propane tank that exploded inside a supply closet, setting the building on fire and injuring several Airmen. Keesler holds exercises periodically to prepare Airmen for real-world emergencies. (U.S. Air Force photo by Steve Pivnick)
