MARE prepares Keesler for crisis
Capt. Robert Henley, 81st Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Staff Sgt. Kiley Pederson, 81st Medical Support Squadron, and Senior Airman Eric Coffie, 81st Surgical Operations Squadron, discuss the number of “victims” being transported on the medical bus to Keesler Medical Center to receive further treatment during a major accident response exercise March 21, 2013, at Gerrard Hall, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The scenario involved a leaking propane tank explosion in a supply closet that set the building on fire and injured several Airmen. Keesler holds exercises periodically to prepare Airmen for real world emergencies. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kemberly Groue)
