Keesler showcases excellence to IESB team
Staff Sgt. Benjamin Johnson, 81st Logistics Readiness Squadron material control, explains a waste oil burner used to heat the vehicle maintenance building with old oil from government vehicles to Maj. Gen. Tim Byers, the Air Force Civil Engineer and Installation Excellence Selection Board member, Jan. 11, 2013, at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Keesler is one of the top two bases competing for the Commander-in-Chief's Annual Award for Installation Excellence with a $1 million top prize for quality of life initiatives. Keesler showed the board members various examples of team problem solving, unit cohesiveness and enhanced productivity throughout their two-day visit.
