Cry of the Raven

Retired Col. Mike Cavanaugh receives a coin from Brig. Gen. Andrew Mueller, 81st Training Wing commander, April 9, 2012, at the McBride Library, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Cavanaugh, who currently lives in Thailand, pays a visit to the base to share memories from his time during the Vietnam War as a Raven and also of Maj. Edward “Hoss” McBride, whom the library is named after. Ravens were the classified and prestigious pilots who accomplished missions all over Southeast Asia in the Vietnam era.
