Many thanks served with Thanksgiving dinner

Members of the 81st Medical Group senior staff were joined by Col. Glen Downing, left, 81st Training Wing vice commander, Nov. 16 as they served a traditional Thanksgiving meal to patrons of the 81st Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron cafeteria. Working “the line” with Colonel Downing are, from left, Brig. Gen. (Dr.) Kory Cornum, 81st MDG commander; Col. David Garrison, 81st MDG deputy commander; and Chief Master Sgts. Deborah Strickland, 81st Surgical Operations Squadron superintendent; and Michael Anderson, 81st MDG superintendent. Other staff members helped out throughout the 11 a.m.-1 p.m. meal period. The 81st MDTS Nutritional Medicine Flight staff prepared 340 pounds of turkey, 95 pounds of ham and 200 servings of stuffing plus assorted desserts enjoyed by more than 600 customers.
