Retirement ceremony honors military working dog

Staff Sgt. James Martin, 81st Security Forces Squadron kennel master, presents a shadow box to Staff Sgt. Garth St. Clair, 81st SFS military working dog handler, on behalf of Carlos, 81st SFS military working dog, during a retirement ceremony for Carlos Sept. 16, 2015, at the Don Wylie Auditorium, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Carlos was in the service for 11 years and served deployments in Afghanistan with a Navy SEAL unit; Iraq with a U.S. Army unit and three deployments with St. Clair. He has been adopted by St. Clair.
