Defender receives STEP promotion
Chief Master Sgts. Vegas Clark, 81st Training Wing command chief, and Farrell Thomas, 2nd Air Force command chief, participate in a Stripes for Exceptional Performers promotion ceremony for Staff Sgt. Courtney Hill, 81st Security Forces Squadron pass and ID NCO in charge, at the visitors center March 30, 2017, on Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Hill was STEP promoted to the rank of technical sergeant. In the past year, Hill oversaw the issue of 20,000 passes and coordinated entry for multiple base events.
