Cable One in Biloxi is celebrating Veteran's Day by giving back to the community. On Monday, Nov. 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. anyone can come to the Cable One office located at 786 Dr. Martin L. King Blvd. and call there loved ones anywhere in the world who are either Veterans or currently in-service at no cost. They do not have to be a Cable One subscriber to make a call.

"This is one way of Cable One giving back to the community", said Butch Henley, Marketing Manager for cable One. "This hits very close to home for me, I spent 13 months in Viet Nam and only received letters from home and sometimes they were over a month late. It gets very lonely not only for our soldiers who have made the commitment to serve their country but also for the loved ones at home. We have a strong tie to the military with Keesler here in Biloxi and many active duty personnel deployed from right here. I hope that everyone in the Biloxi area that has someone currently serving or knows a veteran will come to the office and give them a call".

Scott Randall, General Manager said " Even though we have thousands of troops in Iraq and all over the world, those stationed here in the states are important to us also. We feel this is a small way we can give back to the soldiers and their family members who do so much for our country. With Cable One phone we offer free long distance calls in the continental US and our rates for international calls are very competitive. On this day, Cable One is paying for all international calls to anywhere in the world made from our office"
