James Roy, retired 16th Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force, traveled to Keesler Air Force Base to speak with first sergeants, the Air Force Sergeants Association, military training leaders and Airman of the 81st Training Wing Feb. 2, 2016. Chief Roy has served at every capacity in the Air Force, from the squadron level up to Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force, which included serving three years as a civil engineer at Keesler. “It’s about the total force, the entire team at Keesler,” Roy said. “The mission is very unique in AETC, whether you’re an MTL or an instructor it’s the example you set, every single day, which has an impact on new Airman.”
