KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- Keesler’s first Dragon Fest is scheduled to take place on the field directly south of the base exchange Feb. 26, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This event has more than 40 groups and private organizations to choose from and is open to Keesler personnel including contractors, Defense Department civilians, retirees, spouses and dependents.
“Dragon Fest is a huge day where permanent party members, retirees and spouses can come out and see what Keesler and the local community has to offer,” said Master Sgt. Jason Burdett, 81st Contracting Squadron section chief. “Over 40 groups and private organizations will showcase what they offer and is a great opportunity for mentorship and to meet people with similar interests.”
Dragon Fest is an organization built to help Airman grow and network through shared interests.
“This is a great mentorship and networking opportunity for all Airmen,” said Capt. Jessica San Felippo, 81st Training Wing command action group director. “Not many bases offer a one-stop-shop for clubs and private organizations on base.”
