‘Feds Feed Families’ sets record

Fisk, who chaired Keesler's participation in the federal drive, said that the base donated 3,780 pounds of food which was donated to Loaves and Fishes soup kitchen in Biloxi, Fisher House, and the Gulf Coast Women’s Center for Nonviolence. Figures released by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management this week reported that the Department of Defense led 40 government agencies, donating 2,004,613 pounds of a total 5,793,446 pounds of nonperishable food items to feed children, senior citizens and families in this year's drive.
