Daedalians make donation to Fisher House Published Nov. 24, 2009 By Keesler News Staff Keesler News Staff KEESLER AFB, Miss -- KEESLER AFB, MissThe Daedalians Hurricane Flight 40 recently made a $100 donation to the Keesler Fisher House in the memory of one of its members, retired Col. Howard Froman, who passed away Sept. 25. Founded in 1934, the Order of Daedalians is a fraternal organization of military pilots promoting leadership in air and space power. Dean Todd, flight captain, said, "The chapter meets monthly at the Katrina Kantina to sponsor an educational speaker and honor the legacy of those who have flown and are flying in defense of our nation." The chapter offers scholarships to local ROTC students and contributein other ways to the Keesler community.
