Brick by brick
Right, Dennis Mathis lays brick on the training aids center under construction on Larcher Boulevard between Chappie James Avenue and L Street. Construction of the 37,554-square foot structure is almost 50 percent complete and should be finished by June. The parking lot is nearly done and most of the exterior block work is complete. Brick work for the first floor of the $12.2 facility is well under way and some wall framing has begun on the second floor. Interior block walls are in place on the first floor, and plumbing, electrical and air conditioning work is proceeding throughout the building. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kemberly Groue)
