Making room for progress
Contractors with Carothers Construction demolish the former physical therapy clinic area of Keesler Medical Center's "D" wing Aug. 11. Demolition, including the main D wing tower in the background, is scheduled to be completed by Oct. 17. It is being done to make way for the new $68 million inpatient tower. Construction of the new tower is planned to start in late October, with completion scheduled for October 2011.
