Competition heats up
Canada and France compete during the 5th CISM Women’s Soccer Championship at Biloxi High School Stadium 7 June. The CISM tournament, hosted by Keesler Air Force Base, includes teams from Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, The Netherlands, The Republic of South Korea and the United States. Matches are being held June 6 to 13, with the Gold match June 13 at 2 p.m. Organizers say the tournament gives teams and people who attend a chance to develop bonds and life-long friendships between the countries and a chance to learn about one another’s cultural similarities and differences.
