Keesler Medical Center reopens following power switch Published Feb. 18, 2009 By Steve Pivnick 81st Medical Group Public Affairs KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- Keesler Medical Center returned to full operations today after contractors successfully completed the power switch-over to the new Central Energy Plant. Software problems extended the facility's planned Feb. 14-16 closure through Tuesday. The medical center will see patients Friday under its normal compressed work schedule. The Student Health Center, located in the student "Triangle," continues to provide medical care to 81st Training Group students.
