2008 Community Assessment Survey May Be Contacting You Published June 9, 2008 By 81st Training Wing Public Affairs 81st Training Wing KEESLER AFB, MISS. -- Approximately 150,000 Active Duty service members, 50,000 Reservists, 9,000 AFMC Civilian Air Force employees and 160,000 spouses of Active Duty or Reservists at each of the 85 Air Force bases worldwide will be randomly selected to participate in the 2008 Community Assessment. Individuals will be notified via e-mail that they have been selected to participate in the Web-based survey. All civilian spouses of active duty members are encouraged to take the survey. Dual active duty spouses should not take the spouse survey since they may be selected for the active duty survey. Reserve spouses will not be surveyed in 2008. The spouse link is: http://spouseafcasurvey.com/. The access code is: SpouseAFCA. The survey takes 30-40 minutes on average, but participants can log off and return to complete the survey as needed. The community assessment is completely anonymous; responses cannot be linked to the respondents. Data collected from the surveys will be analyzed and briefed to wing and AF leadership. The information collected will help IDS teams (KIRT) make community-wide program planning and resource allocation decisions, which will ultimately enhance the quality of life, readiness, and retention of Air Force personnel. If you have been chosen for the survey you are encouraged to complete it. If you have a non-military spouse, please pass this information on to him/her. The information collected is vital not only to Keesler but also to the entire Air Force. The assessment closes 30 June.
