The 81st Aerospace Engineering Squadron Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight has released the annual Water Quality Report as required by the Safe Drinking Water Act.

The 2015 report is designed to provide details about where Keesler's water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires publication of a drinking water quality summary report within six months of the year's end and made available to all drinking water system customers.

The bottom line: Our water is considered safe to drink in accordance with all SDWA standards. No contaminants exceeded EPA standards in 2014, and no action is required at this time for Keesler consumers. The CCR also contains useful information such as how to conserve water and additional resources available from the EPA.
