81st TRG writes Christmas thank you list Published Dec. 18, 2013 By Men and women of 81st Training Group KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- Dear Santa, During this season of Peace and Joy, not everyone receives the presents that they ask for. Since you are so busy with your last minute rush of preparing for the holiday delivery, the men and women of the 81st Training Group would like to save you some time in looking back at your naughty or nice list. Although the following people may not have been told this on a regular basis over the year, their contributions to our mission were vital to our success as a team and we want you to know that each and every one of them are on the "Nice" list... - Ron Reagan from the 81 TRW legal office for working the long hours and always being there to help us make the right call. - Pete Wilkinson, Allen Lowery and staff from the student processing center for keeping our Airmen on time. - Ted Morris at the youth center for teaching our children the importance of sportsmanship. - Jackie Pope and team from the Airman and family readiness center for leading the way with various events. - Dan Ransom and Donna Anderson from Wounded Warrior and the Hospital service(?) - Tech. Sgt. Vincent Basher from 81st Security Forces Squadron for his countless hours of support. - Peggy Fairly and staff from 81st FSS for supporting all of the functions - Senior Master Sgt. Jason Holbert from 81st Communication Squadron for the amazing Info Dominance award ceremony. - The entire 85th Engineering Installation Squadron for assisting in all aspects of training and support. - Chief Master Sgt. Robert Nolen and the staff of the Mathies NCO Academy for providing excellent leadership mentoring. - Vernon Griego for providing outstanding guidance with civilian issues - Retired chief master sergeant Chuck Teston for his energetic approach to teaching our heritage to all Airmen. - Dave Jenkins and Lt. Col. Sharon Nickelberry from 81st Force Support Squadron for taking care of the Airmen day in and day out. - Tammy Palombi for helping institute our movie night support for the Airmen. - Sandra Brzovic for keeping track of all the volunteer opportunities and helping our Airmen learn the importance of selfless service. We know that we aren't able to say thank you to every single person from across the base who helped make the training group's mission a success in 2013, but if you would go ahead and mark these special people as "Nice" we would be truly grateful.
