Members of Keesler Air Force Base are celebrating the 70th Birthday of the U.S. Air Force with an Air Force Ball 6 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Bay Breeze Event Center here.

The Air Force has been breaking barriers since 1947, dominating air, space and cyberspace domains, while looking toward the future of Multi-doman Command and Control and the Airmen who will help to keep the U.S. Air Force the greatest on the planet.

The ball is an annual Air Force-wide tradition celebrating the heritage and history of the Air Force. Attendees will dress in formal or 1940s attire for this gala style event.
