Keesler returns to normal operations

Keesler Air Force Base operations are returning to normal after an Airman reported an individual on base making threatening remarks today.

The base implemented enhanced security measures to secure the safety of all base personnel. The 81st Security Forces Squadron is working with local authorities on follow-up actions. Base personnel can expect delays at base entries until further notice.

There was no active shooter or attack and no injuries were reported.
