Keesler AFB hosts NASA workshop

The 81st Training Wing is hosting a NASA Educator Workshop at the Weather Training Complex, Thursday, March 30, at 9 a.m. here.

NASA, through their Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Educator Professional Development Collaborative, is teaming up with Keesler weather instructors provide teachers in the southeast an educator’s workshop. The workshop, like others NASA provides, introduces educators to available resources, techniques and best practices for use in their classrooms.  The workshop will focus on weather taking advantage of the weather schoolhouse and Hurricane Hunters both based at Keesler AFB.
