Keesler AFB hosts U.S. Air Force Honor Guard

The 81st Training Wing is hosting the premier performance of the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team’s 2017 routine Friday, March 10, at 9 a.m. on the in Levitow Training Support Facility Drill Pad here.

The performance will be one part of the 81st TRW’s first quarterly Drill Down of the year. The Drill Down is an event focused on demonstrating precision drill movements and formation marching.

The USAF Honor Guard is one of the Air Force’s oldest organizations, established in 1948. The Airmen on this team form the force’s elite ceremonial unit.

The drill team preforms drill movements with a fully-functional M-1 rifle in intricate, constantly changing formations. The team is known around the world for their precision, disciple and ability to inspire.
