KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- The 81st Training Wing and the city of Biloxi will participate in a joint exercise at intersection of Irish Hill Road and White Ave, near the installation’s main gate, Feb. 16 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The White Gate will be closed for the duration of the exercise. Those wishing to access the base during this time should use Meadows or Pass Road Gate. In addition, traffic will be re-routed on Irish Hill Road from approximately 9 a.m. to noon.
Members of the installation, Biloxi police and fire departments, American Medical Response and Merit Health will patriciate in the exercise designed to evaluate the capability and operational readiness of emergency and first-responder personnel. It will also test participants’ ability to communicate, integrate and coordinate resources.
