Keesler Hosts JROTC Drill Competition

Keesler will host the Mississippi Joint Service‐Junior ROTC All Drill Competition in the 403rd Wing dual hangar Nov. 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Approximately 800 Junior ROTC cadets and spectators will come to Keesler to battle for the best all‐services Junior ROTC team for Mississippi.

Eighteen Junior ROTC teams from all military branches will be represented at the event. They will showcase their skills in six drill competition events including armed regulation, armed exhibition, unarmed regulation, unarmed exhibition, color guard and personnel inspection.

The event, which is free and open to anyone with access to the base, will include multiple military static displays.

A schedule of events will be sent after finalization.
