KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- An Airman assigned to the 81st Training Wing at Keesler Air Force Base was pronounced dead and three others injured in an on-base vehicle accident involving pedestrians that occurred at approximately 1:25 p.m., July 28.
This was not a training incident.
The identity of the Airman will not be released until 24 hours after next of kin notifications have been made.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation and no additional details are available at this time.
