Sesame Street characters to perform at Keesler

KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- The Sesame Street/USO Experience for Military Families is on an eight-month tour and will stop at Keesler Air Force base to perform for our military families Oct. 8 and 9.
Shows are scheduled for Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Welch Theater. Admission is free and seats are available on a first come, first served basis.

The show will feature Elmo's new friend, Katie, a military child whose family is about to move through a permanent change of station.

Media is invited to the Oct. 9 event. Those interested in covering the event should contact Public Affairs at 228-377-2783 by 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9.

Be advised that USO, Sesame Workshop and VEE Corporation reserve the right to videotape any performance and/or rehearsal, in whole or in part, solely for in-house use. The use of any other video and audio recording devices and motion picture cameras is strictly forbidden during performances.
