Trainer development saves money, innovates
Staff Sgt. Steven Pietras, 334th Training Squadron instructor, trains Senior Airman John Quanrud, 334th TRS, on an enhanced terminal voice system in the air traffic control course June 17, 2013, at Cody Hall, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The 81st Training Support Squadron trainer development center recycled the previous cabinetry, built in 1994, providing upgrades in electronics and software and matching the existing color scheme as seen in the field and has allowed for over $2.1M in cost savings.
