Trainer development saves money, innovates
Greg Wilson, 81st Training Support Squadron, installs the final slide rails for the enhanced terminal voice system console June 6, 2013, at the Trainer Development Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., for equipment upgrade to be used in the 334th Training Squadron air traffic control course. Recycling the previous cabinetry, built in 1994, with upgrades in electronics and software and matching the existing color scheme as seen in the field has allowed for over $2.1M in cost savings.
