Exercise tests response to anthrax attack

Caroline Bunce, 81st Dental Squadron, applies moulage on Jordan Barker, 10, son of Maj. Amber Barker, 81st Medical Group, as he plays a “victim” of anthrax exposure during a disease containment plan and point of dispensing exercise Feb. 28, 2013, near the Vandenburg Community Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The scenario included a series of biological attacks in which numerous Keesler personnel became infected and the medical group had to distribute large quantities of medicine to efficiently minimize risk.
