Keesler Hospital hosts local school health class visit
Lt. Col. (Dr.) Joseph Pocreva, right, describes the operation of the Keesler Hospital’s Emergency Department to members of the Gautier High School allied health class during a hospital visit, Jan. 25, 2013. The 81st Medical Operations Squadron Emergency Services Flight commander explained how the ER staff cares for patients, many of whom may spend as little as 20 minutes in the department before being discharged. The ER was just one area the group of 40 students and chaperones had the opportunity to see during their tour. (U.S. Air Force photo by Steve Pivnick)
