Leadership Gulf Coast visits Keesler

Lt. Col. Jeffrey Ragusa, 403rd Wing, briefs members of Leadership Gulf Coast on the duty of a Hurricane Hunter and the process of flying into a hurricane for observations during a tour Oct. 10, 2012, on the flight line at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Leadership Gulf Coast is a Chamber of Commerce program designed to prepare the area’s current and potential leaders for the future. The goal is to create a communication network between present and emerging leaders dedicated to the improvement of the Mississippi Gulf Coast by attending a monthly session focused on industry. The focus of October’s program is the military’s presence on the coast. The group also ate lunch at the Live Oak Dining Facility, received a wing mission briefing and did a windshield tour of the base. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kemberly Groue)
