Exercise, exercise, exercise!

Maj. (Dr.) Allen Stering, left, and Airman 1st Class Rodney Davis, 81st Medical Operations Squadron, assist Staff Sgt. Matthew Bricker, 81st Engineering Installation Squadron, who portrayed one of the individuals that were wounded during Keesler's active shooter exercise, June 21-22. In the exercise, a lone gunman opened fire at Airman Leadership School, with 12 people killed and 17 injured. Major Bricker was one of the people "injured" during the shooting spree, but he was able to lend a hand to the medical triage team. The exercise, conducted by Air Education and Training Command, tested the base's ability to respond and recover from a mass casualty event. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kemberly Groue)
