Compliance inspectors evaluate Keesler's major accident response during exercise
Keesler firefighter responds on scene in Tuesday's major accident response exercise. During the exercise a C-130J made a hard landing, lost engine power and crashed into a six-passenger van, coming to rest on the Triangle track north of Alho Manor. The scenario also included a spill from chemicals on the aircraft, hydraulic fluid and JP-8 fuel. Three people "died" and 30 were "injured" in the accident, part of this week's Air Education and Training Command Compliance Inspection. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kemberly Groue)
