81 SFS honors fallen Airmen with new memorial
Senior Master Sgt. Robert DeGennaro, 81st Security Forces Squadron, makes remarks during a memorial ceremony honoring the nine security forces Airmen who lost their lives during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom April 11, 2014, at the 81st SFS building, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The ceremony included the unveiling of a “fallen soldier battlefield cross,” which consists of a standing rifle with a helmet and dog tags adorning it, and boots at the base.
